Over the past five months, we have all been navigating a new normal: wearing face masks, online schooling, working from home. What everyone has adapted to has truly been amazing. 

Like you, we here at Haller have been adapting and innovating quickly in the wake of the pandemic, including:

  • Introducing new safety measures to protect the health of our frontline technicians and our customers
  • Providing new remote service options to better serve our customers
  • Adding internal safety measures to protect our entire Haller team

With these service options and new safety protocols, we can continue to provide you with quality service, while protecting your health and the health of our technicians who serve customers on the frontlines everyday.

Remote Assist

We’ve partnered with HomeX to bring their Remote Assist solution to your home service experience. HomeX Remote Assist gives you more flexibility in how we can work together to resolve common heating, cooling, plumbing or electrical issues in your home. Here’s how it works:

  • Speak with a certified technician over the phone or video chat who will virtually diagnose the issue and walk you through the solution without the need for a home visit. 
  • If you do need a service visit, we’ll send a technician to your home who’s already briefed on the issue and prepared with all of the right tools to fix it quickly.
  • HomeX Remote Assist sessions are free with a One Call Club membership, or $50 for non-members. However, if the HomeX Remote Assist technician determines that you need an in-home visit, we will credit your invoice the $50.

If your issue can’t be solved virtually, our new Contactless Service ensures your safety and the safety of our technicians during your in-home visit. You’ll notice these enhanced safety measures as soon as your technician arrives. 

After sanitizing their tools, they will put on personal protective equipment (which is worn at all times), greet you outside the house, and: 

  • Head straight to the service area without a personal escort
  • Communicate with you over the phone
  • Use “verbal” signatures, and send all documents electronically

These precautions ensure your safety and the safety of our technician at all times.
