Joshua came out for a electrical inspection on our initial contract. He was all business and knocked it out in around 30 minutes. Nice guy…very professional
Haller diagnosed the issue with my whole-house water filtration system quickly. It was repaired quickly as well. Friendly service person who explained the issues and solution to me. I already had their service plan for one hvac system, so I converted to a whole home plan to cover the water and upstairs hvac as well.
Systems check up – did a great job very efficiently once arrived. Was a little Kate due to heat wave related emergencies!
Jesse is extremely knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem with my AC that others had missed.
We purchased our HVAC system from Haller and also established a service contract. Today, Haller sent Christian to service our unit. He was right on time and quickly performed the checkup. These guys do a good job!

Gabe from Haller Enterprises arrived promptly when scheduled. He listened carefully to my questions/concerns and then made an honest effort to find answers/solutions. Although no immediate resolution to the main issue was found, Gabe promised to continue his search on his own and contact me promptly when he had success.
In an out very professional
Don Humenik was our technician. He came with another technician, I think his name was Larry though did not get a last name. I could not ask for a more professional, helpful and friendly experience. We just moved into our house which had one prepaid maintenance visit left from the previous owners. They honored that last maintenance check and so there was no fee to us. That says a lot about how they do business. Because of that, and reinforced by Don and Larry, I signed onto their yearly maintenance agreement. I feel like I finally have a trustworthy, competent, and fairly priced company to work with. Other companies Iโ€™ve dealt with in the past have hit one or two of those, maybe good to work with but really expensive. I feel like Haller hits all the marks.
Gabe is the best plumberโฃ๏ธ

Shane and Matt are two pros who are really good at their job!!! We are very happy with their work…. thank you

Water Testing

Water testing is the starting point for choosing the right conditioning or treatment system for your home.

Haller’s water testing services identify exactly what is in your water so you know what you are dealing with before investing in equipment.

Hardness testing measures the calcium and magnesium levels in your water, which determines whether a softener or conditioner is the right call. Our licensed plumbers run the test and explain what the results mean for your home.

A full water quality analysis looks at hardness, pH, iron, chlorine, and other common concerns at once. The results show exactly what is in your water and which treatment approach makes sense.

Specialized testing identifies specific contaminants like bacteria, lead, nitrates, or sediment. When those are present, treatment moves beyond conditioning to targeted filtration or purification.

Homes on well water need regular testing to catch changes in water quality that can happen seasonally or over time. We test well water for the full range of concerns that affect health and plumbing.

After installing a softener, conditioner, or filtration system, we retest the water to confirm the system is delivering the expected results. That verification is how you know the equipment is working as intended.

Water Softeners

Water softeners remove the calcium and magnesium that cause hard water, protecting your plumbing and appliances while improving how water feels and performs.

Haller installs, repairs, replaces, and services water softeners across Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Salt-based systems are the most common and effective option for removing hard water minerals. They use ion exchange to eliminate calcium and magnesium, providing consistently soft water throughout your home.

Salt-free systems do not remove minerals but condition the water to prevent scale buildup. They are a great low-maintenance option for homeowners looking to reduce scaling without using salt.

Dual-tank systems are ideal for larger households with high water demand. They provide a continuous supply of soft water by alternating between two tanks, even during regeneration cycles.

Designed for smaller homes or tight spaces, compact water softeners deliver efficient performance without taking up much room. They are perfect for condos, apartments, or utility closets.

High-efficiency softeners use less water and salt than older systems while still delivering consistent softening. They make sense for homeowners prioritizing lower operating costs over the long run.

Water Filtration

Water filtration systems address contaminants, taste, and odor issues beyond hardness alone.

Haller installs and services the full range of whole-home and point-of-use filtration across Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Whole-home filtration treats all the water entering your house, protecting plumbing and improving water quality at every fixture. These systems handle sediment, chlorine, taste, and odor issues across the whole house.

Reverse osmosis systems deliver highly purified drinking water by filtering out a wide range of contaminants. We install under-sink and whole-home RO systems sized to your household’s usage.

Carbon filters remove chlorine, chemicals, and the taste and odor issues those create. They work as standalone systems or as part of a larger filtration setup.

Ultraviolet water treatment kills bacteria and microorganisms without chemicals. UV is often used alongside filtration on well water systems or where microbial concerns have been identified through testing.

Water Heaters

Water heaters work alongside water conditioning equipment to deliver the hot water your home relies on.

Haller installs, repairs, replaces, and services water heaters across Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Traditional tank water heaters store and heat a set volume of water, delivering consistent hot water for most household needs. We install gas and electric tank units sized to your home’s hot water demand.

Tankless water heaters heat water on demand, which eliminates standby energy loss and delivers continuous hot water. They are a strong fit for homes with growing hot water demand or energy efficiency priorities.

Heating element failures, thermostat issues, pilot light problems, and leaks are common water heater repair calls. Our licensed plumbers diagnose the issue and complete the repair to restore reliable hot water.

When a water heater reaches the end of its service life, replacement is usually more cost-effective than another round of repairs. We remove the old unit and install a properly sized replacement.

Annual flushing, anode rod inspection, and component testing extend the usable life of a water heater, especially in Central Pennsylvania where mineral content in the water contributes to sediment buildup. Regular service keeps the system running at rated efficiency.

Water Conditioner FAQs

What is a water conditioner, and how is it different from a water softener?

A water conditioner improves water quality without removing minerals like calcium and magnesium. Unlike traditional water softeners, these systems do not rely on salt and instead alter how minerals behave to reduce buildup. Water softeners remove the minerals entirely, which produces the softest water but requires ongoing salt use.

How do I know if I need a water conditioner?

Common signs include scale buildup on fixtures, spotting on dishes, dry skin, and reduced appliance efficiency. A professional water test confirms whether conditioning is the right solution for your home and what specific issues your water has.

How long does a water conditioner system last?

Most water conditioners last 10 to 15 years with proper maintenance. Regular service helps extend the lifespan and ensures consistent performance over time.

Is professional installation necessary for a water conditioner?

Yes. Professional installation makes sure the system is properly sized, installed, and configured for your home’s water. Our licensed plumbers handle sizing, plumbing connections, and calibration so the system performs correctly from day one.

How often should a water conditioner be serviced?

Annual maintenance is recommended to keep the system operating efficiently. Service frequency may vary depending on your water quality and usage, but yearly service is the baseline for reaching the upper end of the system’s usable life.
