Justin was on time and did the job quickly. Thankfully my heater was not broken, so it wasn't a big job but I appreciated him taking the time to fix my air filter as it was stuck and he put a new one in and made a little tab on it for easy pull out.

Tabish the Tech from Haller was extremely courteous and resourceful in his approach and diagnosis of how to clean/repair our underground landscape drainage pipe. He was very open and honest about his recommendation on how to make a necessary repair for the long term vs a short-term fix. It would also be substantially more cost effective than he could provide. Professional, helpful initial consultation Tyler was very professional, courteous, and helpful. He was flexible in coordinating his visit while I was away from the house and other contractors were working there. We were investigating a suspected leak in a roughly 130-year-old cast-iron drainpipe. Tyler carefully discussed several possible approaches, including stenting, epoxy repair, and replacement. Given the potential scope of the work, which might have involved opening walls and replacing a substantial section of pipe, he prudently suggested involving a senior supervisor before proceeding. Ultimately, another plumber removed the second-floor toilet, discovered that the defect was readily accessible, and repaired it with epoxy on the spot. This spared us what I had feared might become an enormously expensive and disruptive project. I can only evaluate Tyler’s initial consultation, which was very satisfactory. I’m giving four stars because the ideal outcome would have been identifying and repairing the accessible defect during that first visit. Nevertheless, I appreciated Tyler’s professionalism, thoughtful advice, and willingness to seek additional expertise rather than rush into a major repair.

Water heater service and sump pump

Haller installed my heat pump last December and I had their service techs come out for a routine maintenance check. Carlos and Steve were very professional, courteous and informative. Highly recommend Haller and their services.

The Haller Enterprises technician Luke arrived to perform an annual servicing of our tankless water heater, which we originally had installed on October 31, 2008, almost exactly 18 years ago. Luke was very knowledgeable and professional and knew exactly what to do in order to run a de-scaling liquid through the copper coils of the tankless water heater on a continuous loop where the liquid was circulated through the system for a full hour. If it had needed an hour and a half, Luke would have stayed that extra half hour, but based on how good everything was looking in the bucket (see the attached photos) the one hour cycle was more than enough. Luke thinks that we will likely get at least another 2-4 years out of this Rinnai tankless water heater, based on how well it is still performing now and given what we know to be the typical lifespan of these types of on-demand hot water heaters. I also had another Haller technician, Safwan, come over on the same day, October 15, 2026, to perform my Fall checkup on my furnace and humidifier prior to winter setting in. My 10.5 year old Trane system and Aprilaire humidifier checked out fine (Safwan installed a new water panel in the humidifier and thoroughly cleaned out all the calcium deposits prior to installing the water panel), but Safwan spotted a potentially dangerous situation developing with the sheet metal exhaust pipe which carries the carbon monoxide up and out of our house. Using his cameras that he snaked into some tight areas, there was a heck of a lot of rust building up on the inside of the exhaust piping right where that piping exits the furnace and it was also in the elbow joint of piping that the first pipe connects to. A lot of flaked off rust particles from the insides of these sheet metal pipes had settled down into the opening of our system’s inducer motor, which would have eventually caused that very expensive part to fail. And if any pinholes ever developed in those pipes due to further rusting, then carbon monoxide could have begun entering our house. So we had Safwan replace the pipe and elbow joint that you can see in the photos that I attached. This is a great example of why doing Fall system checkups is worth the money, to prevent developing problems from becoming a major financial expense and to also keep us safe from a potential carbon monoxide issue from occurring at some point.
