My air conditioner was repaired by Neffsville, but it failed again in just over a month. When it stopped working, I was told it would be four days before they could come back out (itโ€™s 101 degree outside!).

I called Haller Enterprises instead, and they had a technician at my home within 24 hours. Jesse B. was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain the issue and the repair. He diagnosed the problem quickly and completed the repair efficiently.

The difference in responsiveness and overall service was night and day. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Haller Enterprises for your HVAC needs. Thank you, Jesse, and the Haller team, for taking great care of us!
Adam B. came out on an extremely hot day and got the air fixed up and running well as soon as they got my call. He was very polite and friendly and explained everything he needed to do. I would highly recommend the company.
Very professional and tells you exactly what is going on. Highly recommend.
Very courteous and explained what was going on very well.
Thank you for the prompt and excellent service. Jesse was quick to figure out the issues with our ac, clearly explained the problems, and had us up and running again just in time for the heat wave.
Hands down Heller enterprises is one of the best HVAC and all around utility companies out there. Their text and appointment system is top notch. When there are delays they let me know immediately unlike other places that keep you hanging out with no word on what's happening. Technicians are sharp, polite always cover their feet with wraps to protect floors and they really know their stuff.
The technician Nicholas showed up on time as all Haller technicians do! We needed a leak fixed under our kitchen sink and a new faucet installed. The leak was coming from the garbage disposal and asked him if it could be taken out and replace just with plumbing for that side of the sink. He gave me great prices and performed the work in about three hours and was very thorough and cleaned up all the way out to the front door.
Vincent replace our water heater with a tankless one. He is a extremely polite gentleman and explained all things very well. He work long and hard and did a couple extra jobs while here. I would not hesitate to ask for him for anything else needed. Thank You Vincent
Daniel diagnosed the problem quickly and explained everything well.
Nevin was courteous, professional and got right to work. Haller's employees always are. Nevin is the kind of employee who relates well to Haller's cusomers..
Update 1/2026: I continue to be impressed with Haller and their professionalism and capability. They take the time to explain what's going on and why something should or shouldn't be replaced. The One Call Club continually pays for itself every year!
We have had our system (installed by Haller) for a few years now and use the annual maintenance contract. The last three visits from Haller have been by the same gentleman and he's been absolutely fantastic to work with. He has taken the time to explain options, why something should or shouldn't be addressed immediately and has answered every single question I've had about our system. I'm curious about mechanicals and ask a LOT of questions so it takes a little to get through the answer sometimes. They have always been professional and respectful of my home and cleaned up after they were completed their work. I have recommended Haller to several of my family and friends because its rare that a company is always this easy to work and deal with. I'm going to be a long term customer for sure and am happy I decided to go with Haller for my HVAC installation. Thanks for the awesome experience!!
Experience in 2026 for electrical:
Haller came out and helped me with an electrical issue I had. They came in the evening, patiently described my issue and helped me understand my electrical box. I appreciate the help Jason B. Gave us!

This is an experience for Haller in summer of 2020:
I have a heat pump. It sucks and blows, I know, Iโ€™ve heard the jokes.

But we had an issue recently where our heat worked but our AC only blew hot air. Steve Wakefield, one of the techs from Haller, came out to see what the problem was. He spent several hours with me helping me understand the issue and informed me that the best option would be to replace the unit.

One thing I need to mention โ€” this was a second opinion. The first HVAC company told me that it was busted and the only option was a full install, so I was quoted for a price between 8k – 10k for a heat pump install. Normally a fullInstall would be necessary, but Steve, who provided me with my second opinion, was able to call a supplier right at my house and confirm that they had my outdoor unit in stock and it was compatible with the basement unit.

I then got a quote for a full install just in case; they did everything virtually due to COVID, but it was so seamless. The full install option would be $600 less than the competitor with additional services included!

I have been amazed by Hallerโ€™s service and Steveโ€™s desire to really go the extra mile to help me understand my decision.
He was on time,he let me know exactly what he was doing. He'd showed me what the problem was and what could happen. He was very thoughtful and informative and of course very friendly. Yes, I would recommend him to my home ๐Ÿก. That's why I like having Haller Enterprise for my home needs.
Would like to give positive comment to Jessee and Austin- your two technicians who did a great job on problem-solving our AC unit recently
Ken was excellent including his explanations!
My service tech was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining my system and the condition it is in. He was very professional and friendly.
Outstanding….best technician yet!
Did a great job on our AC installation
We had annual maintenance performed on our air conditioning and then had to make a call later in the week for our garbage disposal. Both times our technicians, Brayden and Trenton, were polite, professional, on time, and efficient. Even the receptionist was on point with our issue, courteous, and a pleasure to speak with.

Each technician provided follow-up advice and key things to be watchful of. We are beyond pleased with the services Haller provides as well as their staff and technicians. The service fee is reasonable and the maintenance contract we have for our A/C is a cost saver.
Gabe from Haller Enterprises arrived promptly when scheduled. He listened carefully to my questions/concerns and then made an honest effort to find answers/solutions. Although no immediate resolution to the main issue was found, Gabe promised to continue his search on his own and contact me promptly when he had success.
I used Haller Enterprise to replace some plumbing and was very pleased.
Needed emergency service and they were there within a few hours. Great service. Friendly and efficient.
Brandon did a great job replacing a shower valve. He also cleaned up after the job was complete. We will definitely use Haller in the future.
Excellent Service. Pleasant technician!
Christopher is my maintenance tech who comes out twice a year. He does a great job and is always honest and clear. Appreciate his patience as I do have 3 dogs and he is always accomodating. Thanks!

Common Boiler Repairs Our Team Handles

Boiler problems show up in a range of ways, from pressure drops and uneven heating to complete system shutdowns.

Our NATE-certified technicians are equipped to diagnose and repair boiler issues accurately, no matter how the problem presents.

A failed or failing circulator pump prevents hot water from moving through your system, leaving some or all of your home without heat. We inspect the pump, identify whether it can be repaired or needs replacement, and restore proper water flow through the system.

If your boiler pressure is too high or the relief valve is discharging, the system needs attention right away. We test the valve, identify what is driving the pressure issue, and make the repair to bring the system back into safe operating range.

When certain rooms or zones are not heating while others are, a faulty zone valve is often the cause. We trace the issue to the specific valve, repair or replace it, and verify that each zone is receiving heat as intended.

A boiler that will not fire or struggles to maintain ignition may have a thermocouple, igniter, or gas valve issue. We diagnose the ignition system and complete the repair so the boiler lights reliably and stays on.

When the boiler runs too long, short-cycles, or does not respond to temperature changes, the thermostat may be the problem rather than the boiler itself. We check the thermostat, test the connection to the boiler controls, and correct the issue at the source.

Water around the base of the boiler or near fittings often points to a leak in the system. We locate the source, assess the extent of the damage, and complete the repair before the issue causes further damage to surrounding areas.

Why Your Neighbors Trust Haller for Boiler Repairs

Choosing the right team for a boiler repair matters for both the quality of the fix and the safety of your home.

Homeowners across Central and Eastern Pennsylvania count on Haller because we show up prepared, communicate clearly, and do not cut corners on a system that heats your home and handles pressurized water.

Our technicians hold NATE certification, which means they have passed independent, industry-recognized testing in heating systems. When your boiler needs repair, you get a technician who has demonstrated real competence, not just on-the-job familiarity.

Haller is a BBB Accredited Business with a track record of resolving issues and treating customers fairly. That standing reflects more than 40 years of work across Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Boiler failures do not follow a schedule. Our emergency repair service is available around the clock so you are not left without heat during the stretch from December through March when this region needs it most.

We explain what we found and what the repair will cost before any work begins. You approve the repair, we complete it. No hidden charges and no pressure.

Our Home Comfort Club membership covers annual inspections, priority scheduling, and exclusive savings across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. For boiler owners, regular maintenance is one of the most effective ways to catch issues before they become emergencies.

Should You Repair or Replace Your Boiler?

Deciding whether to repair or replace your boiler is not always a straightforward call.

Haller helps homeowners evaluate their options honestly, with a clear-eyed look at what makes financial sense for their home and their situation.

Rust and corrosion on the heat exchanger or boiler tank are not surface problems. Once corrosion reaches the point where it is visible and affecting structural integrity, no repair restores the system to safe, reliable operation. Replacement is the only responsible path forward.

A boiler that repeatedly loses pressure after being serviced is signaling that multiple components are wearing out together. When the expansion tank, relief valve, and fill valve are all showing wear at the same time, targeted repairs stop making financial sense.

If certain zones consistently underperform even after a technician has serviced the boiler and bled the lines, the issue may extend beyond the boiler itself into the distribution system. That pattern warrants a broader assessment of whether the existing system can meet the home’s heating load.

Boilers built to last typically do, but not indefinitely. A system past its expected lifespan that requires a significant repair is rarely worth the investment. Our technicians will tell you plainly whether the repair makes sense or whether a replacement will serve you better over the next decade.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my boiler needs repair?

Common signs include uneven heating across rooms or zones, a boiler that short-cycles or runs constantly, unusual noises like banging or gurgling, drops in system pressure, water pooling near the unit, or a pilot light that will not stay lit. In Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, where the heating season runs from early December through March, catching these signs early gives you more options and usually keeps the repair simpler.

How quickly can Haller respond?

We offer prompt scheduling and same-day service where available. For situations that cannot wait, our 24/7 emergency service means you can reach us any time and get a technician on the way.

Why is my boiler making banging or kettling noises?

Banging, rumbling, or kettling sounds usually point to limescale or sediment buildup on the heat exchanger, which causes water to overheat and steam in localized spots before it can circulate properly. In Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, mineral content in the water accelerates this over time. A technician can assess the extent of the buildup and determine whether a flush resolves it or whether the heat exchanger has been compromised.

What happens during a boiler repair visit?

Our technician arrives on time, inspects the system, and identifies the root cause of the problem. We explain what we found in plain terms, walk you through the repair options, and give you the price before any work begins. Once you approve, we complete the repair using quality parts and test the system before we leave to make sure it is heating correctly and operating safely.

Can regular maintenance help prevent boiler repairs?

It can, and consistently. Annual maintenance catches issues like sediment buildup, pressure irregularities, worn components, and deteriorating seals before they cause a breakdown. Haller’s Home Comfort Club makes it easy to stay on schedule with priority access, annual inspections, and savings on service across all three of our trade categories.
