haller university ribbon cutting ceremony

In our summer article titled “Where in the World are the Next 35?”, we shared some information on the lack of labor in the skilled trades and suggested you “stay tuned for some exciting news about both classroom and on the job training, coming to Haller Enterprises soon”. That exciting news is finally here, as we celebrated the grand opening of HallerU on January 4th, with a public open house and ribbon cutting ceremony!

HallerU came about as a solution to two challenges we face at Haller Enterprises: a decrease in qualified technicians and the need to provide improved, high-quality training for our current employees.

Facing these challenges, we realized that we needed to address them proactively. So, we created HallerU as a place where we could support our current employees’ goals, as well as offer comprehensive training programs for anyone interested in starting a career in the Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, or Electrical trades. This learning center will take someone with little or no experience in the trades and equip them with skills to become “field ready” to begin a career at Haller Enterprises. Our first Field Ready Program in HVAC began on January 7th.

We are currently accepting applications for our Electric Field Ready Program, as well as RSVP’s to our two upcoming open houses – February 13th at 6:00 PM and February 16th at 10:00 AM.

At Haller Enterprises our mission is to enrich the lives of our employees, our customers, and the communities we serve. The formation of HallerU allows us to live that mission in all three areas. At HallerU our mission is to equip learners with skills and resources, then empower them to go out and thrive in their career.
